Syngow brakes 5.1ghz benchable on cascade

A fellow dutch overclocker achieved an amazing overclock on a retail e66

    E6600 L628B123 @ 5123MHz 1,9v cooled by unknown_road cascade
Biostar TForce P965 Deluxe w/vcore + vdimm mod
    Crucial Ballistix PC5300CL3 @ DDR2 1138 CL4-4-4-11 2,65v

Really amazing on a cascade! And a new WR frequency on E66 !!!!

Hold on, he is still benching atm!

(wrong section, move to xtreem overclocking please and add e6600 to title please.. I was really not paying attention.)

    Tnx everyone

I don't know any evap temps since I don't own a DT200 yet. But unknown_road (he has build the beast) tested it and got -95c evap @ 250W load.

In bios CPU temps are around -80c, but I don't really trust the sensors.

    vcore mod for the Biostar:

Absolutely stunning for an E6600 , and "just" on cascade too, with a dark horse of a board. Biostar...who would have guessed?

The red "-" is the feedback pin of the vcore controller. The red X is connected to that point by a trace on the mobo. It's just for extra information, you don't have to do anything with it.

I don't have any vdroop problem with this board. It even slightly overvolts under load even without the mod.

I measure vcore directly on one of the mosfets. It's not the most accurate way to measure, but atleast it gives me some information.

1.5 version is slower , so result probably wouldn`t be U10s

Zomg! Nice, loving the use of a Biostar! Are they actually good at overclocking? Guess so.
