Just picked up a new pair of these to replace my old ones which were ****ed up...... they are indeed TCCD chips again, after a little bit of messing around with them the performance is as follows.

glad to hear it! But out of curiosity - how are you sure these are TCCD? Some TCC5 DO perform very well, contrary to popular belief - take their PC4800/4200 plats for example...
Intel 3930k @ 4.55ghz
Asus Rampage IV Extreme
Intel SSD 520 480gb
AMD Radeon 6990
Corsair AX1200 PSU
well they are currently naked........... last 4 letters are TCCD unless you tell from somewhere else on the ram chips?
Maybe chips from the Platinum Elites that couldn't do DDR600.

well im not really pushing it and its doing 275 @ 2.3-3-3-6 1t
ill lower my multi see if i can go more
Wow nice, If i had only knew they still used tccd i would've went with 1x512MB stick since one of my Plat rev2 peed itself while i was gaming and not only that. It wasnt even overclocked which really pissed me up even more......
So what batch are the IC's on the chip...That one that died on me was 0449
I believe these are 522 if I am not mistaken.

hm........... I don't know I threw the heatspreaders away, I never use them. Here's a link to the memory if that helps. 190$ canadian seemed pretty cheap to me.

That is cheap but I dunno about voiding a lifetime warranty to see the chips.

i really dont see how I would need a warrantee on anything I overclock the out of :P
when i something up and it's my fault I'll take responsibility and buy myself a replacement, not try for an rma, especially with OCZ, they take their time to help us on the boards with getting our rigs set up perfectly to get them to oc like crazy......... OCZ is an awesome company.
Hey, I dont know about ICs on mine which I got a month ago. TCC5 or TCCD, dont care as they are doing fine 270 with 2.5-3-3-8 with 2.8V on my Abit AN8-SLI. Yeah my gamble paid off as I got them for $168 I think. I dont think I am gonna take spreaders off to check what is under it, as I have not tried it. But I am happy with 2.7GHz on A64 3200 with Stock cooler.
Good Luck to you all.
I agree I am quite happy with my oc as well since it's on a 3500+ newcastleOriginally Posted by harshal
you should be able to tell by looking @ the sticker.. if it's TCC5 it should have a v1.1 on the sticker..Originally Posted by harshal
