Well I'l pick up a 4000+ or 4200+ San Diego to compare to my 3800+ Venice. Hopefully I would have custom phaser by then so I could see what does better. My 3800+ has shown to be a smokin' cpu though

BTW... wheres the 'Ive already got a Venice / San Diego' option in the poll

Another BTW... the San Diego's should be nicknamed 'Sandy' as conrad.maranan suggested in another thread

I'm going to let you guys have the guinea pig honor, and sit this out till the best steppings and such are known.

Either way I will have a Rev D / Rev E or A64 X2 in the coming months, just need to decide which is the best bang for buck.

Or how about an option for "Had two Venices and already got rid of them!"

Can't understand why the prices here in Norway are so high. I see that a 4000+ Sandy costs 550$ on monarch. You can only guess what it costs in norway! It costs 5800NKR = 943$...
I can almost order two 4000+ SD from Monarch for the same prise.
But my local customs will make me pay the same price if I buy it from another country unless the box is marked as "gift" or "back from repair", the they won't ask any qustions..

Just preordered mine, though normally as soon as a bunch of people found a good steppings I think by then the only place to hunt for them again is at local.

I ordered the 3700+ SD from sparco on saturday. I called them this morning to verify the availablility. They said my order would be shipped from the initial shipment. The sales rep Rob told me they were getting 150 pieces, and as of 9:40 this morning they had orders for about 100.

Makes me wonder how their order grew from 60 to 150?

I ordered my 3700+ late last night and when i called today to check on the status they said that i wasnt going to make this shippment but the following one. Which was on a later date. I spoke to a female and she wasnt too sure of herself. 150 would be awsome. I hope i get mine sooner then later.

i talked with sparco a few mins ago... the guy i talked to said that they still havent received the first batch (so it could be later today or tomorrow). The next batch 'should' arrive on second week of may.

I guess its not too bad cuz that way i 'have' to wait thus gives time to see bechmarks of venices and sandis (being possitive)

i still have to order a case and psu... ($350 right there alone) a few more weeks to save for what ever chip i get to order its a good thing.

Norway = one of the most expensive European countries. You have too much gas on the Nordic Sea
