    6600 dry ice + 7900GTX stock heatsink

    heres new system setup:

    Intel C2D 6600
    Asus P5B-Deluxe Wifi
    Supertalent DDR800 CL.4
    Point of View 7900GTX

the board is full modded, vcore, vdroop, vmch, vmem (thx hicookie 4 sharing these mods)

bios was 0507/0508 or 0605 (work all fine)

GTX is also modded (thx shamino, 4 mods)

mem isnt responding to anything higher than stock volts 2,17V with 100k on i got 2,23V and artifacts all over in bios, so i removed.

the dry ice tube is made by jan the insulation is great!

    validation:

    hehe dude

    Some advise:
Please show mem-settings on the SPI runs, it really makes a difference in result judging

Also, that insulation, its horrible - Looks like my first LN2 sesson by my own after 6 hours and alot of spilled LN2

A friend and I tested 1M as well on DICE, strange thing, couldnt run 1:1 - so was CPU:RAM 4:3 - almost 4.3ghz and we got 11.9xx sec. (odd thing is ram can do 530 4-3-2-4 for 1M, so must have been something really weird about our run)

lol, it s not my first time dry-ice bench.... everything is alright no panic about insulation thats all i need for dry ice.

yes gtx was stock cooled with vgpu mod @ 1,7V+

the bios i used on ypi runs was 0508 it didnt show mem timings

mem was 1:1 so between 470-485 with 4-4-3-4-3-20-8-10-10-10 exactly enough?

cpu can go higher 4,5 shouldnt be a problem but above 1,58V vcore the temp is dropping so next time => cascade

500x9 should work with better temps, maybe even 505x9 but more i would need better mobo, cant go higher than 505.

i went with diffrent ones for the varous runs but here are max:

    7900GTX:

    1,74V max vgpu = 828 mhz core
2,17V stock mem = 927 mhz mem (higher mem volts causing artifacts)

    all stock air cooled

    Asus mobo:

    vcore 1,6150V (-1,585) = 470-485 x 9
    vmem 2,30V (2,35V) = 470-485 4-4-3-4-3-20-8-10-10-10
    vmch 1,15V = 505fsb

all other things in bios max (vfsb etc..)

dont know if the reading points are correct (vmem, vmch) there are many ones, but some show nothing. i saw that measure is always about -0,2V from bios so if you set 2,45V mem i got about 2,25V

    Didnt say it was
Said my first LN2 of my own was with bad insulation as well.. The thing is, fu.ck the hardware, wont die of DICE / LN2 - ice wont melt, but, you get worse temps by not having it insulated effeciently.

Yeah, hehe, I was also a bit... Nearly dropped a tear, we spent a great deal of time tweaking for that 1M run at 11.9s, if you've got 11.7s just by using default win etc. - it would have been horrible for me as a tweaker

yeah youre right, insulation would gain some few degrees but i just went fast this time because i bought the dry ice and waited for a friend who gave me back the janpot
then i went to birthday party and i benched next day, just some dry ice was left so i had to go quick !

i tweaked a bit, like services, windows looking but no registry tweaks, not enough time for that.

just spend long time with good car low 01 runs
or goign through 3dmarks with higher clocks and => freeze

so it was little bit hard in hurry i couldnt do better, but as i said i ll finsih my ultimate cascade cooler soon so i ll try then with the real numbers

ey nachthy when gets ure X6800 under cascade

    were waitin
