Um... actually I dont know why LOL.

Which PWB are they using? (you should be able to see on the edge of the PWBs towards the top... are they BP?)
Ooo...Brain Power. Does anyone know who is stocking the latest batch from them with UTT?
Formerly XIP, now just P.
Same as my Black PC4400s... hmmm....Originally Posted by JNav89GT

My mouse is over the buy button and has been for the last two hours. I can't decide...I certainly don't have the money...I'm negative broke lol. :P

I know that feeling bro. With the price that Fry's has them at they are less expensive than the value vx... and since I don't think Mushkin has any high-speed rated UUT, they won't be speed-binned...
/me looks at a stack of RAM next to his research setup and ponders...
BTW, thank you for the info JNav
Will try it.... Thanks for the info...
do the other "value oriented" UTT sticks out there have the "top dog" BP PCB's???
C
good question. I don't think twinmos does, but not sure about OCZ as they very well might.
it's never fast enough!
I know they are UTT... I got 4 sticksOriginally Posted by craig588

bp815 at frys for 60-65 p/512
hm... does this look like winbond utt chips on bp ?
I got 2 sticks for outpost today. Talk about service. Ordered last nite at 7pm pst. Got it this morning a 10am in Vancouver and warehouse is in Ohio. Although I paid for air freight, I expected Monday delivery. Anyways, these sticks have spd already programmed at 2-2-2-6 at 200mhz. Too bad I can't test them to their full potential until I can get a better mobo.

seems that way... with the 2 dimbles.Originally Posted by phenglee

Any chip can have dimples and white spots like BH5, those are just marks from a (Common) chip manufacturing machine.
Just throw 3.6V though it and try running it at 250/2-2-2 if it dies it's not UTT, if it survives and is stable then there is a 25% chance it is. (Only BH5, BH6, some very good CH5 chips and UTT can do those speeds with those timings)
For those of you about to post:
The TwinMOS SP 512MB linked to there at Newegg is all new BH5, not UTT. So it all depends on what you'd rather have...Mushkin UTT on BP PCB, or TwinMOS new BH5 on whatever PCB.

Would anybody care to tell me if these sticks are UTT please?
Thanks
Team Rufio
probably not as the blue line just started using utt and frys was first to get
it's never fast enough!
What is the fastest speed that you can obtain?
