Currently I have 2*256 BH5 that does 270 3d stable at 2-2-2-5-7 but since I game when not benching I'm itching for a gig. Now the simple answer is use the BH5 for benching and get a gig of the cheapest stuff you can find... right? Well since I toasted my motherboard the only way I can afford a gig is to sell my BH5.
Idealy my DTR should do 360*9 for a nice 3240 under dry ice which would let me use a /12 divider for some sweet 270mhz ram. If I get a kit of twinmoss/OCZ/mushkin cheap UTT is there a snowballs chance in hell that at one of the sticks will hit 270 at around 3.7V? Or should I just stick with my BH5 for benching and throw in a 256 meg CH5 stick for 768 when I game and suffer the performance hit from 3 sticks? (2T?)
