I like this thread but I was expirimenting with the timings and found out this timings are way better for dragon low/high:

    TRCDRD: 7
    TRCDWR: 4
    TRP: 5
    TRAS: 14
    TRRD: 5
    TWR: 7
    TR2W: CL+3clock
    TW2R: 3
    TR2R: USE TWR RULE
    TR2R: 2
    WR_LATENCY: 1.5
    CAS_LATENCY: 7
    CMD_LATENCY: 0
    STR_LATENCY: WR LATENCY
    REFRESH_RATE: 0x45
    TRFC: 27

This gives me 577 on my timings vs 565 at your timings in drag low.
And 300 vs 295 in high dragon.
Can other people please test this if this is true, because i think there are best memtimings for each game test in 01se.

wow, good thinking trying different timings on each test. I only did my testing with nature, but you may be on to something.
I used to have links here demonstrating how awesome I am, but it's been so long that they're not very relevant (and the pictures have disappeared), so I guess I'll have to get working on new stuff.

Im sad to say my result was the same as Nerm. I lost 400 points in nature.
Here are the stock timings for my card.

    TRCDRD: 7
    TRCDWR: 4
    TRP: 5
    TRAS: 6
    TRRD: 6
    TWR: 7
    TR2W: CL+2
    TW2R: 1
    TR2R: USE TWR RULE
    TR2R: 3
    WR_LATENCY: 1.5
CAS_LATENCY: 4 = 7 gave me bad lines on screen and a reboot
    CMD_LATENCY: 0
    STR_LATENCY: WR LATENCY
    REFRESH_RATE: 0x75
    TRFC: 23

Ill try playing with the timings a little to see if i can come up with a good combo for my card. Good thread Subscribed!

for those having problems, perhaps try flashing to the ATI reference bios?

Would these timing tweaks work for the X800 XL? I'm guessing probably not, but I thought I'd ask anyway.

maybe if it has 1.6ns RAM, but i doubt it will work well on 2.0ns. wouldn't hurt to try.

I was hoping that those timings would work for me too, but sadly they don't; eshbach's still give best FPS, both in Nature and Drag's. The timings that you posted are actually almost identical to my stock timings -- only refresh_rate is changed.
Just thought I'd chime in and let you guys know.

Props to eshbach though, never thanked you, but those timings give me ~7fps in Nature and a boost in the Drag's too

This timings helped me break 97K in AM3 with a stock cooled card, thanks a lot. I didn't even test them on other benches yet, i imagine i'll see the same results.

Even boosted my x800XL, nice work.

Help guys, I just tried these timings, got a performance drop and now when I use my stock timings (which I had written down), I get almost 100FPS less in Drago Low. The other tests are fine.
My guess is that I've confosed some of the timings, can someone post the stock timings for a Club3D X800XL please? Thanks...

Nevermind, solved it. These timings dropped my Drag Low by 2FPS but gave Drag High and Nature a healthy 3 respectively 6.7FPS boosts. Definatly a keeper

(it was artifact city at my 24/7 overclock though, so I'll only use them for benching...)

Could anyone please give me the default settings for an X850 XT? I accidentally overwrote them and I want to make sure that I have them to fall back on.

    Thanks

They dont work with ati tray tools, they dont have same values.
So ati tool is the only if you want it correct.
This is the value that make mem artifact faster:
    TRCDWR: 3 instead of 4

Correct values if you use ATI tray tools:

Well, this is the second straight card that just doesn't like eshbach's enhanced timings. This time my new x800xt-pe when set to these timings will artifact even at stock speeds lol. I guess I am destined to bench on the stock mem timings for my video cards lol.
