    Fatal1ty AA8XE vs AA8XE-3rd Eye vs AA8XE

    Hi

I've the Fatal1ty, but the sata controller is broken and I need a new board but I think the fatal1ty isn't the best abit board to overclock with high fsb...
Can you tell me your experience with this 3 boards? Which one would you buy? Or should I buy a 955X board?

I have an AA8XE, and I enjoy it, the max fsb is really high (>450), the mobo doesn't need to be vmodded to o/c, as it allows to rise vddr/chip/core high enough. If you don't need more than 4sata, i suggest you to go for it

nothing recommended except for the plan AA8XE.

the 3rd eye's all rice to me (depends on opinion though). the fatality although the cooling + everything's good the buggy bios does not allow fsb's above somewhere near 300mhz FSB stably and inconsistently (different boards differ widely). the AA8XE is good to go till 400mhz FSB and beyong (430mhz with lard/sham)

This is true, if you buy a mobo now and want dual core in the future your going to have to buy another board again, I just found out most of the 955 boards should be out by summer anyway.

I don't have to buy a new board, I should receive a board from the reseller shop...
