    Geil ONE tccd won't do 300mhz stock timing........

    With any voltage my geil ONE TCCD won't do it's speed stable in memtest86 which is 300mhz @ 2.5-4-4-7. At 3v, 2.95, 2.9, 2.85, 2.8, 2.75, 2.7 it has thousands of errors in memtest, at 2.65, 2.6 The prog will freeze from not enough vdimm. I tried the PERFECT setup, since my max stable OC for cpu is 2.7ghz I took 300fsbx9 = 2.7ghz droped htt multi to 3x = 800htt, ram running at EXACTALLY it's rated speed with 2.5-4-4-7 but it has to freeze or have errors. I even tried 2.5-4-4-8 with no luck, any suggestions?

    Update your BIOS. Check other timmings.

    My Personal Records:

    Infineon BH-6 (1x256MB) at 290MHz [2-2-2-5] at 4.0V // CPU-Z
    // PIC
    Infineon BH-6 (2x256MB) at 270MHz [2-2-2-5] at 3.63V // PIC // BENCH 1 // BENCH 2
    Kreton UTT (1x512MB) at 270MHz at 3.35V [2-2-2-5] // CPU-Z // PIC
    Infineon BH-6 (4x256MB) at 270MHz at 3.8V [2-2-2-5] // CPU-Z // BENCHMARKS

    Check other timings is a good idea. This fatal1ty bios was showing serious auto detection problems (I have the latest version), the gentleman in this thread http://xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=66721 has totally different tminigs then me, not cas, cas to ras, precharge, cycle im talking the other ones that I don't even know about or what they do. Maybe this is my problem I appriciate your response. Am I supposed to have the same timings as that guy has? I don't expect to get 300mhz with 2.6vdimm lol but I mean as far as other timings? Thanks again!

    Edit: http://img226.imageshack.us/img226/8229/timings6ur.jpg See what i mean? These don't look right do they?

    I bet that you have the rest of the timmings too tight...
    All in all, a silly question, your mobo is capable of doing 300 HTT???
    GL with those modules!

    Yeah, id have a look at secondary timings, do you have a fan over the ram, as tccd gets very hot when memtesting.

    Yes of coz my MB can do 300htt the cpu is prime stable like if i clock the ram back but I'm having timing problem. Check my link to my a64 tweaker, don't seem right does it?

    Edit: I have 2 120mm, 3 80s 2 bling direcly onto the ram and my cpu is watercooled so there is no cpu hot fan air blowing onto my ram, they should be fine temp wise.

    Definately secondary timings.

    My 3200XL TCCD was unstable at anything over 230Mhz until i went in and tweaked the memory timings.

    Try these settings out.
    Dunno how much tweaking your fatal1ty lets you do Ampz, but this is what got my TCCD stable:

    Vddr: 2.8v to 2.9v
    TCL: 2.5
    Trcd: 04
    Tras: 07
    Trp: 04
    Trc: 07
    TrFc: 14
    Trrd: 03
    Twr: 02 to 03
    Twrt: 02
    Trwt: 02 to 03
    Tref: 4078
    Twcl: 01

    Skew: Increase 255
    Drive Strength: 2 Leave this at 2, higher is too much for TCCD
    Max. async: 7ns to 8ns
    Preamble: 5ns
    R/w Bypass: 16x to 8x
    Bypass: 7x to 4x
    32B granuarity: Disable
    Currently Tweaking ..

    Try dropping the idle cycle limit to 128/256 and give different tref's a go. My tccd always had something with twcl=1, so try auto or push it up. trtw can drop to 2 or 3. You should be able to drop the trc down to 7-8. Also memtest with a variety of diferent voltages, if your still getting errors note what voltage produces the least errors. also try varying the ldt/nb voltages. Failing all of this test the sticks individually to see if one is failing.

    Got two sets of Geil One to play with.
    Took a bit of tweaking to get DDR600 stable.
    Both pairs do best at 2.6v, 2.5-4-3-7-7-14-2-2-1-2-3072-1-enable inc-255
    No rig right now.

    Try this

    FSB=300
    LDT=3
    Dram Voltage=2.63-2.8
    DRAM Frequency Set(Mhz)= 300
    CPC = Enabled
    CAS Latency(CL) = 2.5
    RAS to CAS(Trcd) = 4
    Min RAS# Active time(Tras) = 7
    Row Precharge Time(Trp) = 4
    Row Cycle Time(Trc) = 7
    Row Refresh Cycle Time(Trfc) = 14
    Row to Row Delay(Trrd) = 2
    Write Recovery Time(Twr) = 2
    Write to Read Delay(Twtr) = 1
    Read to Write Delay(Trwt) = 2
    Refresh Period (Tref) = 3120
    Write CAS Latency(Twcl) = 1
    DRAM Bank Interleave = Enabled
    Skew = AUTO
    Skew Value = 0
    DRAM Drive Strength = Level 8
    DRAM Data Drive Strength = Auto
    Max Async Latency = 8ns
    DRAM Response Time = fastest
    Read Preamble Time = 5ns
    Idle Cycle Limit = 256
    Dynamic Counter = Enabled
    R/W Queue Bypass = 16x
    Bypass Max = 7x
