    Thumbs up OH YEAH!!!! 2x256MB BH-5 @ DDR552 6-2-2-2.0-1T on Neo2 / Winchester 3200+

    I've been chasing Onepagebook's BH-5 records for a while. He's like my OCing role-model
    Since I haven't decided to jump on the DFI NF4 bandwagon just yet, this is still on MSI K8N Neo2 and AMD 3200+ "Winchester":

    276x10=2760MHz @ DDR552 6-2-2-2.0-1T 3.8v

    that's some solid sheet bachus_anonym
    real nice SuperPI times for the clock too.
    I'm thinking you need a DFI to do those sticks justice though

    Thanks a lot, guys

    In a few months ( when new BIOSes come out for DFI NF4 ) I will give it a try and see If I can come a little bit closer to OPB's clocks

    Well, I haven't run Prime95 at above settings. I've had this setup on my balcony for only about 4 hours, just to run some benches and break my personal records. To be honest with you, I think (actually, I'm 100% sure) that at 276x10 this setup will not pass Prime95 Blend torture for more that 60 minutes.

    On a dailly basis, I run it @ 265x10=2.65GHz (or 260x10=2.60GHz) with about 3.7vdimm under LOAD

    I'm only at 270 A64 tweaked (tight as possible) with 3.6v.. I'm hoping for 285ish with 3.9-4.0.. I'm on a modded 3.3v rail, so a booster would be nice..

    It might be that he has a newer whinny. Nice results BA

    I see a beach towel and sunlight. You need to move somewhere colder like Michigan. Sun like 4 days out of the year and winter 6-7 months.

    Nice job with the benches.

    Nice clock mate, but not outstanding for BH-5 - here's mine:

    Hope to get some more out of 'em on DFI NF4.........

    @HARDCORECLOCKER

    You're forgetting that it's only "poor" 512KB L2 Winnie at ~2.8GHz and not 1MB L2 FX at 3.3Ghz That's a different league, bud....

    BTW, thanx....

    EDIT: also, how's that DDR550 of yours doing as far as something more than just "not-so-demanding" SuperPi 1M?
    I'm asking because I can't recall anyone else showing such a set of benches at this mem speed, except for OPB's 3DMark2001 run @ 277x12 .... Unless, you know where I can find it....

    I think it's the board limiting the overclock.. I say this because anything over 260fsb isn't very stable.. I can run superpi over 265, but Lobby Hi will crash at anything over 262... At 3.3vdimm I can run 250fsb at ANY timings, no matter how tight, and run any app all day long.. Yet, with 3.6vdimm I can barely gain 10mhz completely stable..

    This was a) with a multi of 10, so that hurts things, b) on a single channel 754, and c) on a single stick of 512..

    I'm convinced that on a DFI NF4 paired with an FX, this ram will skyrocket in it's capabilities..

    I'm in same boat as you Mag Master... 256 2-2-2 is rock solid for EVERYTHING at 3.2v, and at ~3.35v I can run 2x512mb tightest timings SuperPI 32MB @ 268 MHz.... but I cant get memtest stable past 260MHz no matter what timings on this VX memory... no matter what multi... no matter vCore etc.
    I know I may jus need more vDimm, but it feels like something else is topped... maybe memory controller on my CH. Who knows.

    bachus_anonym, I said it already but... amazing clocks dude... nice array of benchmarks too, shows your mem was (even if not 100% stable) sitting there nicely

    Hey mate - didn't compare the CPU speed at all - only wanted to show the ability of BH-5........., got also 25sec SP 1M with G.Skill LA 12 x 280 at 2,5-3-3-5.

    To respond Your question, I'm OPB's brother......... , no I'm kidding - some people do not use A64 tweaker so they have slower results on SP but maybe higher RAM clocks.......

    I don't get it, HARDCORECLOCKER
    That screenie you just showed doesn't even come close to showing BH-5 ability. SuperPi 1M is VERY cpu clock- cpu L2 cache dependant, as well as Pifast4.1. Your Sandra is also higher because your CPU is clocked way higher, too...
    The only reason it's 25s is that that BH-5 is paired with FX that runs north of 3.3Ghz . If you were on 2750Mhz Winnie instead of 3.3GHz FX you could only dream of below 30s result.

    @cpuoverclock...

    so it's more like DDR564 (2800/10), not DDR572...

    Sandra seems a bit low though... What else can you run at this speed?
