I would like get GSkill specifications for HZ at least: 3-4-4-8 1T DDR-500.

My conf 24/7 now with this mobo:

Opteron 170@ 2600 mhz (260 HTTx10), 217 FSB (ram divider 3:2 ).

Vddr: 2.6

But I think that my performance is poor:
-SuperPi 1 Mb=34 secs., Pi 32 MB= 30 minutes
-Sandra Memory Bandwith Int=5910/Float=5894.

Do you also get those f*cking freezes ?

(i get them when i run @ 260fsb :p with latest bios..and still found no solution)

I have the same problem, it will boot at over 280, but wont stay on for long

my system was running @ stock ...
and yesterday, i got a FREEZE
wtf ???

i thought : no problem, just reboot..
but when i tried rebooting, my screen went black, and stayed black..

i cleared CMOS, rebooted, no solution..the screen was still black


suck a STUPID motherboard

i can't wait to use my msi...(this weekend bios update, which supports opteron cpu's)

I found the answer of 2 of my problems with this motherboard :

(ii) Not a PSU problem. This Motherboard undervolts. VCore fluctuation seems to be a well documented problem endemic to ASUS MoBos (will provide links soon).

Massive BIOS problems:
ASUS are having a hard time releasing a stable BIOS. All ! current Winchester supporting BIOSes have problems.The common problems are HTT instability and freezing

Tips mention a 1018.2 BIOS?
Is that correct?

Can only find a 1018.1 - Is there a link to the 1018.2?

Also, suppose there is no way to "unhide" any other options in BIOS or it would have been mentioned?
