normally you can oc intel-cpus only per fsb! only on ES-Cpus (engineering sample) you can change the multiplikator and those samples are rare! very rare!
but normally intel-cpus clock like mad, if you have a good board and a good stick of ram. 50% and more on air aren't impossible!

I have a D325j on a abit IG-80 microatx mb(i915G).
No way to unlock it. Fixed 19 multi.
Because intel chipset lock I hit a wall at 216fsb, no boot at 217fsb.
The chip just wants to go further, have +20% vcore.
The stock cooler keps it at 58 load. Using the prog "trottlewatch" it skips
a few % under prime95, starts trottling when the temp reach 57. Think
the real temp are 10-15 deg higher. Hope the water will keep it from trottling.
Have a watercooling cpu/gpu setup. Will install it when my video card
arrives in mail.
The performance in windows is good, had a 3.2E@3.9E and the only ting
I noticed are better multitasking power with the 3.2E.
I hope the overclock lock goes away once Nvidia launches their chipset. Then maybe we'll start seeing some even nicer overclocks...maybe..its nice to hope

i think with the new lga775 mb, the mb manufacturers (asus, abit, gigabyte...) have found a way around the oc locks. i have had no problem overclocking my system...
yeah, they have, but Intel still tried to force a OC lock on us.
