It's very odd that the ram can't boot into windows even at 245mhz, but I was able to pass a whole 1m run is superpi with clockgen at 260mhz 2-2-2-10 1t. I'll have plenty of time later on to mess with it. My Lady was really giving me trouble last night. This seems to happen everytime I get some new hardware, she will interrupt me when I am trying to reset the cmos or right when I'm really frusterated. It's almost like women know. I feel like they can smell the new hardware. Almost like animals can smell fear, the lady can smell the ram. She smells the ic's and then they come in when you are at your most vulnerable state and attack you for not spending enough quality time with them. So I told her we will work out a schedule for me. Certain days will be my overclocking / games and XS, and other nights I will spend with her. That way everyone's happy. What do you guys think?
    LOL,
I think all the oc geeks suffer from the same (me included).

Good luck with the new rams and I’m sure your wife will understand… or not

You NEO2 guys. Make sure you adjust the LT to 3X after 260's HTT to give it a fighting chance, and obviosly set agp to 67 to lock pci. Also chipsets with early dates are not reaching the same heights as the most recent ones.

Ha. Right when they come to you bugging you that you're not spending enough time with them and you get aggrevated and give them a look, they always say: "Is something wrong?". And yes, they always come in right as you're getting frustrated, and always misinterpret your frustration as something -they- did and not something the computer did. And of course, arguments ensue...

Got all that, not sure whether to check my chipset though... I've already had it off and covered it in AS5 - should have checked then really!...

Plus I'm not going to RMA my board because it's got an older chip on it... It's too much hassle!

I've also read conflicting reports on this site about older revisions and newer revisions and also chips from Korea and Taiwan all doing high HTT's.

I think it's luck of the draw...

    Ok guys,

just finished yapping with a Canadian reseller of this stuff and was told that only 4 1GB kits were sent to Canada total?! This one place got 2 of those 4 and that was it until well into the new year. I managed to snatch up the last kit on a preorder which should be arriving today or monday latest. I have an NFII board only so I guess I will be guinea pig on this. I will let you know what I come up with.

If you mean the AMD or MB warranty then you are probably right. I think most that buy this memory give little regard to warranties.

The memory is warranteed to 3.5v.

Thats a hard question to answer , Eva sent a link on some methods a few pages back

I just find where its erroring in memtest a few errors per pass then loop some windows benches ( pi , prime ) for a while , then start slowing going up in speed , even though I know I might be getting a few errors . then go back and re memtest later

I would start at 3.3 volts and go from there

bro you know were i stand on this subject! (im in the same boat)
make sure you can balance your life man.
really when it comes down to it your pc will always be there,
BUT your girl might not! which is it harder to live without?
just give her some love and attention. maybe try to include her, or show
her what it is you are doing while not focusing on her.
my girl thinks its cute that im into PC's because if you knew me you
would never guess that i was a total hardware geek
but the only reason she accepts it is because i make sure to come
out of the office every hour or 2 to say hi. try it girls love attention
and when you are on your PC its like your with another girl.

well I talked to someone who is supposedly good with you guys. One of the only fully authorized dealers. No one else locally is even touching this stuff.

I think I snagged a pair though so all is good. Looks like I will be the first and only NFII tester for these chips.

Got a guy on a UK forum with em, seem ok but he's obviously pulled back by the chipset

long time reader/troll of this forum and finally had a reason to post.

this ram looks sweet but its so hard to find in canada its rediculous, i refuse to pay for shipping/brokerage fees from the states. i know its probably good business to seell alot of this stuff at one time, but to sell 2 whole manufacturing runs of this stuff right off the bat and short every other place out is crazy. i could see doing this after its been available for a while but so soon to do it. i just dont understand the logic behind it. its great for anyone near a Fry's store but anyone else gets shafted. Then reading this forum almost makes me cry just because i got to wait till next year, even tho its a month away, i dont know if i can take this.

    lol
