need some help with oc:ing amd fx-60

so i've had my fx for a month now and was woundering that what can i do to overclock my FX a little bit more. i've reached 3.1 ghz but it was not prime stable
but i could run super pi with it.

i have tryed to pump up the voltage for my chip (1.6v.) but it starts to get really hot, idle was 49 °C and with load 60°C and those kind of temps my zalman 9500 just cant handle, windows crashes and i get a blue screen of death. Curently i have 04/06/2006 bios flashed. are there any better versions out there that might be worth a try so i could get some better results? any bios tweaks that you gues might know are more than wellcome.
