Technically I am still right since Ricky and Pedro still have a 8fps lead in car high and even more in both lobbies, they actually held back, if they gave it all, 42k would be possible. I dont deny OPP is the champ at all 3 3dmarks for now, but Ricky and Pedro have hardware capable of higher than 41k, thats for sure. It may be 6 months before anyone else gets the 42k Rickys hardware is capable of.

"Guess this disproves Geforce4Ti4200's theory that Pedro and Ricky's score would 'stand the test of time' (for six months)."

42k hasnt been broken yet but Rickys hardware has more cpu power for a higher score than OPPs. He just needs ethelyne.

"What was the difference so that 41k was tough and now you can do it at will, or would you rather not say?"

probably a new fx53 that overclocks way better

"Now looking at the 2001 scores there is one big questing thou. Car hi / lobbys - how come Team Portugal is still A LOT ahead'

probably test order for one, and the Gigabyte mobo may be a bit faster than the MSI, I may take the Gigabyte myself when I go s939.

"I think team Portugal has some backupscore's as they said 41K easy."

maybe, it remains to be seen. I actually think there capble of 42k if they can get the gpu clocks to what OPPs is at.

"wouldn't 01 benefit from a bit higher core? just curious"

only in nature, thats 20 marks per fps.....

"Still, there is a difference. 8 fps in Car-high at same clocks is ALOT. It might be the MSI holding you back, but it would be a litte strange me thinks."

Might be a good idea for OPP to try the gigabyte then

anyway congras on a 41k and congras on being the first to hold records in all 3! Once you get the gigabyte, watch your car high go over 180

    Ace, give it up.

Although I also believe Ricky & Pedros score to be more impressive as I really dont give a rats ass about GPU scores, it doesn't mean they weren't passed.

Fantastic score. Guess this disproves Geforce4Ti4200's theory that Pedro and Ricky's score would 'stand the test of time' (for six months).

Still on an FX53 as well. Thought it must be an FX55 when I saw FUGGER's post. What was the difference so that 41k was tough and now you can do it at will, or would you rather not say ?

Wonder if Ricky and Pedro have backup scores ?

    Very nice work, as always.

On the interesting note of the MSI being slightly slower what does the CELL MENU option of AGGRESSIVE TIMINGS actually do ? I have tried it enabled and my pifast score went down.

Have you tried toggling this Opp ?

The thread name is too long or else they'd be a few more ten-thousand views and a mention at The Inquirer.

Nonetheless, I will never try to comprehend the ambition that drives people to do better and clock higher, even after they get more 3dmark03 marks than my 3dmark01se score.

On that note, Congrats, man and, as always, keep pushin macci, pedro to their limits with stuff like this !!! (As I know they'll respond with like 42K 20K and 10K in 01 and 03 and 05, respectively )

    Simply outstanding OPP! x 3

One hell of an accomplishment there!

Now looking at the 2001 scores there is one big questing thou. Car hi / lobbys - how come Team Portugal is still A LOT ahead (CH = 182 vs. 174, LL = 496 vs. 480, LH = 225 vs. 218) even thou OPP is running 50MHz higher CPU and 4MHz higher RAM and also higher card clock?
    Whats teh catch there guys??
OPP forgot to use A64Tweaker? 2T?
