What air cooler are you using, and what temps are you getting? That's simply amazing.

Yes 10 bucks says its the Epox board! That would be why he never said anything about it cause he's too busy overclocking.

He suggested NOT to buy the Epox. From the look of the BIOS, it looks like the MSI.

i was using a stock cooler and a msi neo2. it wasnt completely stable at that speed. but 2.7 seems pretty stable. ive been busy and havent had alot of time to mess with it.

i had a hell of a time trying to get my ls to work with the neo2. i tried using it a few days ago with no luck. then i read a thread about having to use a second psu in order for it to work. so i tried that last night and got it up and running but it would hard lock when the ls got to it's coldenst point. it was very strange. anything below -20c and i would get a hard lock

Onepagebook did you have any trouble with your ls??

I have got to stop reading these threads, or at least get the wife to hide all the credit cards. Like the others though, I can't wait to see some more results with these chips on air cooling.

That is a hell of a nice overclock and bandwidth though, and doing it all at that level of voltage just tops it off.

It was doing 3GHz at only 1.4V with a whole bunch of benches in the background suggesting it is stable. It had 79xxMBs of bandwidth in sandra.
For those of you about to post:
