Use bios 1.36. You will not need the booster with samsung tccd chips. They are on OCZ 3200EL Platinum and 3700EL Platinum. They are on less expensive Gskill ram (do a search on this forum). I am sure some others too, but I have the 3700ELplats and others with the Gskill 4400 are doing even over 300htt at 2.8v and lower.

Have you tried excaliberpc.com? I just ordered a pair and it will be delivered to Malaysia. I'm sure they can deliver to Canada.

Got a few questions here that I need some info on....

What's the max volts for aircooling??
I'm @ 1.8v ATM (1.55v + 10%), it should be 1.705v but the vcore fluctuates by .03v to .12v, is this usual for this board??

    I'm using the Hyper6 + 2 fans... 35-38c idle & 55c under load...Using MBM 5.3.7.1...

    Caper ,
    I haven't tried any more than 242MHz on my BH5's so far...OCZ MemTest86 v1.0 reports 2980MB/s @ 2-2-2-6-7-16-1T @ 3.2v (DDR Booster)...

    It was only stable for 3.5 hours Prime95 @ 10.5 x 242 @ 1.7v (darn thing fluctuates badly)....

Gonna try lowering the HTT to 241 & see if it's Prim95 stable. Gonna at least let it run for 5-10 hours first & lower the multi to see what my 2 x 512MB BH5's are capable of...

    Off topic:
Funny thing is: I got these 2 x 512MB modules by luck... I was at my local store a while back & some idiot came in & returned these sticks because they "wouldn't" run at 2-3-3-7 on their mobo/cpu combo... Back at a time when it was so god damn hard to get 512MB BH5's in AUS... Nowwhere had them... Right time & place .

    Quote Originally Posted by Perc

It's a tight squeeze with my XMS3500 in slots 1&2 & the Booster in slot 4 but it works real well here... In my case anyways... Both 256MB & 512MB modules....

Set LT to X4 or even X3 to run higher HTT.

    answers above.

I have heard that MBM is more accurate as to how it is reading vcore on the NEO2.

Holy hell, most half assed board I used. And to think I'm still using stock clocks and volts! Oh and look the stupid chipset fan stopped running out of the blue. I think some gasoline on this board would make it work better.
On the contrary , my NB fan is too lould , seems there is a helicopter in my case

well my neo2 plat arrived today - and the install has been interesting thus far - winxp sp2 would not finish its install on the original bios - so i had to flash to 137 and xp is installing now....hopefull that is the only gremlin i come across...

the reboot bug was in full effect - hoping the 137 fixed that !!

Uh there is an auto flash utility, it should be somewhere in the MSI directory, in the "pheonix" (sp) folder- I think its winflash.

When I flashed, post screen shows 1.3b6. Reflash and see if it still shows.
