My VDD was about 1,9-2V i think. I only had the penn mod at the time. Got my VDD and VDIMM mod done yesterday will try later today, send some results. BIOS was Tictacs D26 mantaray XT CPC ON. And the OS was Windows 2k SP4. Kan you show us some bench results? would be nice to compare What's your highest stable superpi?

That's one hell of a superpi time!!! Congrats! I'm only @ 38 although I only have a locked barton. I'm testing FSB on a friends 2600+ tbred with only half the cache, but it's unlocked so

Since you've done so many modifications to your motherboard would you like to help me with mine? My vdimm modd's funny. Can´'t get vdimm over 3,04V. Is it the vtt tracking?

Btw. I got it up to 274fsb just now but it's not that stable. Going to add a bit more vdd. Man this board likes vdd =/

    Good luck with the FSB!

Thanks m8, I envy your FSB, in a healthy manner of course It will be a pleasure to help you with the Vmods, wich Vdimm mod have you done btw, dirty punk (3.3V rail =Vdimm) or the Motherbord FAQ via resistor? I don´t think the Vtt is limiting you, How´s your PSU 3.3V rail at?

I have recently done the Vtt cut trace mod, so I´m still evaluating it´s effects on the Mobo, wil post the results soon.

I just found the 262FSb screenie, gonna find a CD to burn it and post it to you cause my main rig doesn´t connect to www, no Floppy, etc...just CD-RW.

P.S Are you getting 274MHz FSB with only 3.04V or is it a typo?

Congrats on your new FSB anyways!! :banana4:

    Hi m8,

Here's the 261.7MHz FSB screenie with 11-2-2-2.0 with Dual Channel. Strange thing is 11-3-3-2.5 will not help me get higher FSB not a single one...

I can´t get over 240 wilth full stability.

    Hi Golias,

I'm using Vdd at 1.9V. You'll probably need more Vdimm to go higher. Did you try the L12 mod? this mod was always crucial for me.

    L12 mod is implemented.

These mems shouldn´t have problems going higher then 240, they are samsung TCCD chips.

Thanks m8 It was just luck I think. But my mems refuse to go 2-2-2-6 @ 260. They are really strange. Corsair sticks. Supposed to be BH-6 according to Corsair but ever heard of bh-6 that does 250fsb 1:1 2-2-2-6 @ 2,9V? The modd that I did was Motherboard FAQs with the resistor. Now the problem could be the resistor as well, because I checked the resistance and it showed 115ohms. But 100ohms should be more than 3,04V or am I wrong? Your the expert I modded the 3,3V rail so it's about 3,4 now should I increase it?

And no the 274fsb in 3,04V isn't a typo Damn strange ram I have =/

btw. your vdd why only 1,9V? If you get that stable with 1,9V then you've beaten my board I think I had like ~2V Any more vmodds i should do? Hrm I havm't cooled all the mosfets yet =/

Anyway! Good luck getting higher fsb m8!

I've just flashed to mantaray XT 26 and I've got a couple if strange things going on. Firstly the vdimm lists up to 2.7v, but when you select it it's actually 2.9v.
2nd thing is if I dont select 'quick POST' it cycles through my memory at boot and keeps doing it.

    These known problems?

    Cheers

That's because not enabling quick post makes your comp check the RAM every boot.

I'm not sure about the 2.7V thing, though.

PS: I'm going to vmod my mobo sometime soon, I hope, so I can get in on some of this crazy FSB action. I want to break 24K in 3DMark2001SE. I think it's possible...

Thanks for making these BIOSes, Tictac!

Yeah bit why does it just keep on going. How many tymes should it cycle through before deciding the RAM is ok?
