Cat. 4.9 Drivers DROOP vcore more underload on X800XT?

    Hey guys,

I just have had some crashes on my x800xt and wondering why, i checked my vcore voltage that i modded with a 10k pot, and was at 1.57v idle, 1.55v under load.

Now it seems when its under load, it drops to 1.5v when these new drivers are installed, even when its 1.57V at idle. Is it my pot or is it the drivers? I dont feel like dropping back to cat. 4.8, but can someone check to see if their load voltage dropped also on their x800 card?

hmmm, I thought it was just me. Yesterday I started having random crashes as well. And I had just loaded the 4.9's. Mostly while doing graphic editing in Paint shop. I lowered the FSB but still crashes. My x800xt uses defalt settings in normal mode and ATItool changes to OC settings on 3D detect. Havent measured volts and havent done mod yet. But now that I'v read this I think I will revert to 4.8

Hmm, maybe this is bigger than i thought. Seems to be drooping even on the base voltage which creates instibility.
