New here guys - Hi -

I'm considering getting this board, or maybe the DFI LGA775/i875 hybrid.

Question: Has anyone tried a P4E 550/560 using the 14X multi unlock feature???

    Seems like ~280 - 285 FSB X 14, & some decent PC4400 @ 1:1, would be a pretty nice 4G system. This is my goal on air.

We've been playing around with this exact set-up using Asus S478 at OCC in this thread HERE.

I'd like to duplicate our results using an LGA775/i865/875 hybrid, since we believe the Asus S478 mobo power circuitry is a limiting factor (needs lots of mods), and the LGA775 mobo powerplants MAY be a more robust alternative.

    Pleasure to meet you all.

    Strat

Here's my shot at it... 3.0E and an AS8, too bad I've gotta run 5:4 with my 3700EB (which equals 240 Mhz for the Memory... )

1.65V Vcore, 3.2V Vddr, 1.65V Vagp (can't get any higher with this board ), Phasechange, 2.5-2-2-6 (5:4), FSB800 and HT is on.

Too bad it won't boot with PAT enabled...

It's a trusty Mach II GT - don't know about the temps since the AS8 won't show sub-zero temps, but I guess they are around -25°C idle and -10°C to -15°C load.
Gotta get some new RAM to run sync, I'm sure I can hit the 27 secs then.

the 3700EBs don't gain much performance with tighter timings anyway... I'll get some nice RAM to run 1:1 sooner or later. (GSkill looks like a nice option?)
