I looked back and found a post bigtoe did.
It helped me out alittle but I can't hit 300FSB with either stick and I can't hit 270 with 512x2. But I am at 250FSB with alittle bit of tweaked from his settings which it isn't bad. Take a look.
EDIT: here is the same settings as well but with 2DIMMS
@bigtoe:
I need some help clocking this RAM alittle please if you could. Thanks.
wow cant wait to see what i get casue i have similar timings!
Sorry to be posting alot in such little time. But I am just trying to let everyone see what I am getting so there is a comparison.
I ran 3DMark03 with my 9800XT at 441/375.
I am at 250x9.0 with memory 1:1 @ 2.5-3-3-0-14-16 512x2
Nice 3DMark03 score with a 9800XT man.

Hey UGP you should set your 9800XT to 472/421, because I got in AquaMark3 a score of 55,708 with GFX: 7,191 CPU: 12,368.
I know my video card is the bottleneck in my system lol.

That's weird I'm using stock cooling also

Well the Built by ATI clock better than the ASUSOriginally Posted by OC_newbie
I didn't research my card before I bought it. I got it on the basis that the cooling looked alot better. At full load I do only run 50C on the core. Idle it is about 44-46C. Which isn't bad at all but still doesn't clock worth the pooh!
wow I don't get it yours is alot cooler then mine so I don't think it's your cooling. Mine runs at 70 C last time I checked.

Yeah the ATIs do. The problem is it is a piece of crap and I want a new card. Does anyone want to buy a piece of crap video card? LoL! J/K. After I mod it I think it should do well. But I plan to eventually get one of the new 512MB cards next year once they drop in price alittle.
Hey if you have AIM or Yahoo please talk to me there so we aren't having a conversation in the thread LoL!
Same here bro, I got my eye on that ATI code named R500 that's the one with 512MB which comes out later in 2005. The coming R480 should just be 256MB I heard.

Solution is deadeasy, set VID to anything other than auto and make sure your 3.3V ATX is always 0,1-0,15 higher than your VDIMM.Originally Posted by jayl

UGP Your system seems to be the brother of mine.
I'm running 2x512 too and my timings are 2.5-4-4-10. I get similar bandwidth to yours with a maximum of 250 stable at 1:1 (arund 3700 in sandra buffered)
I got between 4000 and 4100mb/s up to 270FSB. The system seems to be stable but fails prime.
With my 9800Pro I was able to get 6920 3dMark03, 22747 3dMark2001 and 50324 Aquamark (GFX:6627 CPU:10445)
I know I could go much higher with only one dimm but I'm going to use my system 24/7 fully stable with 1Gb, so I don't care how much I can get with only 1 dimm

here is one more of my cpu score at 2700mhz. this system is scoreing higher then my intel 3.0c did at 4gigs!!
perc,
What memory do you have? I know I should be able to get 270FSB with 2 DIMMs and around 300FSB with 1 DIMM. Try lowering your timings alittle to 2.5-3-3-10...will your memory handle it?Originally Posted by Bourch

Supposed release date for the DFI 939 is the end of this month.
@Perc...
bldegle2 over at DFI-Street.com used a 120 on his DFI UT and
he said it fits nicely.

After wading through 50 plus pages of posts...I am still not clear if this board is for me....one of my main goals is to break 14,000 in 3dMark03, and I am buying an XT PE for my vid card. Would I be able to break that score with an Oc'd 3000+ with this board? I want to get the best bang for the buck and Oc'ing is the way to go...my Mobile 2500 proves that. I guess I would like some recommendations on what 64 chip stretches the best with this board. I have 1 gig of 3500 Performance Series OCZ, an OCZ 520W Powerstream and a Koolance Exos for cooling (still in the box ). I need 14k, at least, so how do i break it without breaking my wallet with an FX-53?
can someone link me to Prime95? I can't seem to find this program for some reason
