a64 will do more on air, the cg's do around 2.5ghz

    tough tough...

if you dont have the prom yet and have a chance to buy one then go for it.

if you already have a prommie then why not go A64 with prommie?

Well, I've seen 3dmark 2k1 scores of a 2800+mobile (has 1meg cache though) at 2400 with a 9800 pro (xt bios) at 412/365 that are about 2000 points above my 2600 at 2800mhz with a 9800 pro at 400/400 (pro bios) With both running ddr at ~200mhz.

Not sure how much of a boost if any xt bios gives you, or what difference there should be between 412/365 and 400/400, or the point difference between a 512 and a 1024 cache chip. Personally, I'd pick the 2800 simply because I wouldn't have to run a prommy at the same time. I think in alot of situations the xp would beat it though.

There is no mounting kit for the prom since nventiv went bankrupt but i think i'll go for some selfmade mounting.
