    9600xt vmod process/i'm confused

    http://unoid.net/9600pro/voltage.html

    and

    http://www.rojakpot.com/default.aspx...ar1=114&var2=0

have explanations about vmod.but "unoid"'s page has an additional power mod applicaiton.seems like vmod can be done without that power with a molex input in "rojakpot" article.is it really necessary or not ?

ps: my 9600xt's brand is FIC which has a ref bba design.

the power mod increases over power to the card which gains more Mhz but it has nothing to do with Vmoding.

You dont need the Molex mod for the Vgpu and Vmem mod.. I have done both mods without it...

i think that the temperatures will be higher because you increase the voltage and the clock of the core, but i think 40-45 degrees are ok
