    You can get my Sisoft sandra and PCmark 02 to compare with.. If you can find a 3.6Ghz intel..

    I'm surprised that review sites never compare top OC to top OC.

    For example i would also like to see a max'ed out A64 v.s a maxed out Intel

    well, SANDRA and PCMark are useless for comparing AMD & Intel!

    maxed out a64fx is 3ghz as far as i'm concerned
    and maxed out p4 is 5.2ghz i believe

    both usin' LN2

    i wouldnt consider those as somethin' to look at as average people dont nitro their cpus

    I can tell you now that they go in the order that you stated them, Barton being the least of the performers, then intel, then a64 for gaming that is...

    You can find such comparsion on FM's ORB where you can find maxed out AMD and Intel cpu's.

    Intel wins hands down when both taken to the max on air.

    Look on the ORB there is ~2k 3Dmarks between them.

    how about A64's/FX's @ 2.6GHz on air? it's been done, AND further! (2.7)

    that would beat an EE @ say 3.6GHz (they put out ~150W )

    Eh, but the topic, and the question being asked, was Barton on air maxed, vs Northwood on air maxed....not Clawhammer or whatever vs Gallatin....
