8GB Mushkin Redline Ridgeback or G.Skill RipJawsX 8GB

    Hey,

(sorry if I posted a RAM related Q in the wrong area)

Looking for some advice on the best RAM to choose to go in the following setup...

    Asus Maximus IV P67
    2600k Chip

Would need to fit under the Noctua NH-D14.

    Mushkin Redline 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800 7-8-7-24
    Type: DDR3
    Voltage: 1.65V
    Speed Spec: PC3-12800
    Frequency: 1600MHz

    Capacity
    Kit Type: Dual Kit
    Module Size: 4GB

    Timings
    tCL: 7
    tRCD: 8
    tRP: 7
    tRAS: 24

    G.Skill RipJawsX 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C7 1600MHz

    System Type: DDR3
    M/B Chipset: INTEL P67
    CAS Latency: 7-8-7-24 2N
    Capacity: 8GB (4GBx2)
    Speed: DDR3-1600 (PC3-12800)
    Test Voltage: 1.55-1.65V
    Registered/Unbuffered: Unbuffered
    Error Checking: Non-ECC
    Type: 240-pin DIMM
    Master Pack Dimension: 8.5 x 5.5 x 0.62 In (L x W x H)
    Master Pack Weight: 0.26 lbs
    Black PCB
    Warranty: Lifetime

Also, on the market at the moment for 8GB. Is this about as fast as RAM gets?

    Thanks

    EDIT:
    Just seen these for £50.69....

8GB G.Skill DDR3 PC3-10666 RipjawsX Series for Sandy Bridge (7-7-7-21) Dual Channel kit
    Item model number: F3-10666CL7D-8GBXH

Better than the above and a bargain at the price?

    hmm...

So out of the G-Skill which is the better. Tighter timings (7.7.7.21) @ 1333mhz or Slightly looser timings (7.8.7.24) @ 1600mhz
