    Few questions

Have a few questions before I reinstall my loop.

    1) Would there be any adverse affect on my temps if I were to have my radiator upside down? (Barbs at floor instead of uptop)

    2) Is it better to have the fans in a push pull, or a pull push config?
Push pull, for my loop, would mean bring air from outside my case, and pushing it through the rad, then the three fans on the other side would pull it through the rad, into my case, which would then be exhausted through my fan in the back.

    Illustrated here:

Pull push would be bring the air from inside my case, through the rad, and out the front of my case.

    Illustrated here:

Which would give me lower temps?

bring cold air from the outside in works best....and there is NO adverse affect of mounting your rad upside down

Both would give you very close to the same water temps, and the orientation of the rad doesn't matter. However, push pull would probably ventilate your case better.

There should be no affect if you have your rad upside down, the only thing is that there might be more of a chance that air could get stuck, so after you fill your loop up, give the rad a good shake. With the fan configuration, just make sure your rad gets the coolest freshest air. So you don't want to be pulling air from the inside of your case to the ouside.

    Uhh...

I'm pretty sure that push and pull are relative to the radiator, not the inside and the outside of the computer case. If it were relative to the case, what would I call a fan blowing toward the radiator and another fan on the other side blowing away from the radiator if I mounted the radiator and fans completely outside the case?

Both of your examples are push/pull or pull/push, depending on which one you want to be first. The only invalid combos are pull/pull or push/push, which won't work.

Don't mean to be picky, but I was confused at first, and I just wanted to clarify that for any other noobs like me that read this thread.

I personally have my rad with barbs on the bottom and fans sucking cold air from the outside of the case. Works Xtremely good!

I actually got the idea from you!

I used to have my radiator with the barbs at the top, but then the tubing would cut across the mobo, and it didn't look so great. But then I saw yours and it looked a lot cleaner, thought I would give it a shot.

rad orientation and sensible fan orientation doesnt really matter much.

barbs at bottom, air get stuck on top, or vice versa depending on rad. but as always we recommend fully bleeding if possible before fixed mounting.

fans on push or pull depending on your preference and most likely ease of installation.

your first diagram with cooler air from outside going into your case is best.
the other option depends on where your case is, you wouldnt want hot air blowing in your face now would you?...

also internal hardware airflow wise, if you care to elaborate more on setup, will be freely given...
