Simply Xtreme!! That is one Rockin' 6700.. What was base temp on CPU pot?
    Could this be a non-cold bugged C2D?

At least i could see huge improvements on just a few extra degrees of cooling on my QX but it cold-bugs at around -140 base temp (of cpu pot..)

    Congratulations..!!
    Cool things in progress...

    Hi, Musko-san,
this CPU is the same Lot, but it isn't the same NewBeetle's.
However his Mobo was used and moded by NewBeetle.

DAKARA says it is OK @-180 but the best base temp is @-145~-135 on CPU pot.

DAKARA wanted to convey his thanks to you all

I believe this E6700 is his second or may be third one with Batch# L633A549, in which we found some are quite awesome.
It is still a luck of draw that he could only OC to 4.8G with his first one though

1.7 northbridge voltage, with the northbridge not under dry ice or LN2, or water?

    Awesome!

1.896 voltage on the CPU, amazing.

And I can only get 3,388 on my E6300.

    But, AMAZING job.

    5.7GHz is utterly crazy!

You think that's fast enough to stop being a bottleneck for new GPUs :P

    Awesome!
But the CPU, that is placed 5-8cm max. from the northbridge is cooled to -145C @ best temps like fredyama said, so why the ln2/DICE on the northbridge?

Just try to put some LN2 on something and put your hand there sitting @ 5cm short to see if it's not cold :P
