I'm just trying to hide some of the extra weight I've been puting on lately by changing my apperance in some way Need to take a brake from all of this soon as it feels like I'm having two full time jobs atm. My day job (45h/week) and all of this pc hardware stuff. No time to work-out and to much partying on the free time that I have
Ha- you sound just like me. I don't understand at all how you guys at the top manage to bench like this. A weekly session for me is already really pushing it, I'd go nuts doing it any more often. It is funny how the deeper you get into this sort of benching, the less you tend to bench (at the gym).
I take it you've graduated by now which is something at least? When I go back to school in Sept. I'm dropping this completely as usual, becomes 100% impossible. (Though you can't imagine the pain of sitting back and watching the ocing action while you know you can get free LN2 at your university. )
Yeah it sucks not being able to bench during the school year, but atleast it saves me some money. I bench weekly when I can, and that's enough for me, but then I don't have to worry about being at the top. It's been frustrating lately though, every time I go to get some LN2 their's some setback that keeps me from benching, either they're closed, they've run out or for whatever reason I can't get to the store. It's killing me. LN2s not cheap here either, I couldn't afford to bench more than once a week.
My LN2 supplier closes at 5 PM but I usually work from 10-6.
^That's rough, so far this week I've gone saturday afternoon, which they were closed, and today they were out. Hopefully tommorow I'll have some more luck.
I actually dropped out of school, I got a job that works out good for me. It is probably not permanent but I am happy for now. I can imagine that pain very well
To get back on topic here is a few pics of the rigg that i took with my cell on the rigg just before the last run that eneded up in my new personal best in 05.
The humidity was very very high in the Hartwal arena where assembly were held.
Good to see HD 2900s kicking a**.
Now if only the HD 2600 drivers can stop making it perform worse than the X1650 series prior to it

So I have tested the rev4.1s now nd the result is awsome
-70C both pots 1200MHz core at 1.48V np! never been close to that before. Needed 1.58V for that. Core temp is much lower and everythin is much more stable wihout the thin coldplates between.
I've made a interesting discovery for the X38 future in canyon flight of 3dmark 06:
1080 to 1140MHz core gains about 5.0 fps.
1140 to 1170MHz core gains about 1.0 fps.
1170 to 1200MHz core gains about 0.5 fps.
This was done on 145MHz PCIE freq.
Now at 1200MHz raising the PCIE freq. to 148MHz gained 1.7 fps. How sick aint that?!
Looking around for a good kentsfield to be able to run 06 full again. These test were done with 4640MHz cpu.

Oh KINC with these new pots you will now produce WR's every month !
Awesome results!!
BTW do you now how are looking prospects with Phenom CPU? If it can clock then you will have nice RD790 boards with full PCIe bandwidth for 2 or even 3 cards !
PS. Any chances for full throttle numbers this week??

Kinc,I have one question. How much you spend on ln2?
How much is one your bottle?
That isnt much,i can say it is a good job you did
And another question. How much did you pay bottle, just bottle without ln2?I`m looking to buy it,but the price is just too high, cca 650$
I think that's about normal for retail...check eBay.
