I asked this in a couple of spots .

I feel I have got my name out there "hopefully in a good way " but, like some other poster just told me I need to make a phase change unit and get some new stuff and then tweak the new stuff to hell and back and maybe break a record or two.

You dont need to do all of that. I was offered a position as a motherboard reviewer for techpowerup.com (which i turned down.. to busy at the time) b/c of a thread i started about the asus striker. I havent broken any records or anything lol. Just have to be knowledgeable and helpful. You might get noticed.

Ack, that is somewhat similar to how I became reviewer for a magazine 7 years ago. I never broke any OC records but I knew what I was doing and luckily it seems I have the talent to bring my knowledge on paper too.

The problem is that not everyone who is good at working with the components has the writing skills for being a reviewer. On the other hand we expect at least a minimum level when reading a review which should exceed the level of a school child.
And for coming straight to the point without much talking we have forums like XS.org and others.

I have a quick, dumb question.

Swiped this from the motherboard manual: "According to Intel CPU spec. DIMMs with voltage requirement over 1.65V may damage the CPU permanently. We recommend you install the DIMMS with the voltage requirement below 1.65V."

Does this apply to dual channel and triple channel use?

    its any configuration

altought you can run with higher, as said if you know what you are doing and have the chip under cold you can go up to 2.1v

but have a look at hicookie he did 2.2v+ vdimm

but public numbers and voltages have nearly just been posted, but asap people will report in if the find any findings regarding this

and remember you cant say this is harming the cpu in one day

you need a tri channel 6gb kit then

look at the egg, just type 6gb ddr3 and you well get some decent offers

but be aware they are not fully loaded with all kits who will be on the market

there is still some days to official release, but it is possible to buy tri channel kits

    good luck
