    hi guys

im wondering if any of you guys here are using a pc-7 plus case with a water cooling system installed. i would like to know where you mounted rad? , is a 120mm rad enough for a e6600 and a gfx card??.
i was thinking this rad http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=WC-006-SW

    case link pc-7 plus http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...d=7&subcat=187

as i could fit this in my case at the front 120mm fan as its 34mm thick needing no case mod

    good pump??
good Resevoir?? or use fill port???
    good cpu block ??
and good rad if this one aint up to it ??
best coolant to use i like the uv stuff whats best ??
    and best tubing ? 1/2"?

many thanks hope someone can help

I have the same case. A single 120mm rad is sufficient if you don't plan to heavily oc. 2 120's would be optimum.

As for the pump - Swiftech MCP655/Laing D5
    CPU block - Apogee GT
Rad - The MCR120 is a good rad, but your setup will cause far too much heat. Go for a Coolingworks 12T or BIP if you can.
Coolant - distilled water + zerex or swiftech hydrix or pentosin
    Tubing - I prefer 1/2" ID and 3/4" OD

120.2 Rad will be good if you intend to oc heavily .. You can mount the 120.2 rad on the top and lost 2 5.25"bays or just mount it in the front for a 120.1 rad .

    Pump : LAING DDC-2 with a petras top(small pump) /LAING D5
Block : Apogee GT / D tek fusion
Rad : Black Ice GT stealth as it is thin and sleek
Coolant : Distilled water + Pentonsin + PT Nuke/Swiftech HydrX
    Tubing : Tygon or Clearflex

    hi ,

ok i think ill go for the 1x120 rad as i aint looking for no WR .
at the front 120 fan at the bottom i have about 4.7 cm of space there what is the best performing radiator.
i see the black ice xstreme is 40mm is black ice xstreme the best 120 rad??

    this http://epowerhousepc.com/coolingwork...ack-p-620.html

would just fit is this the best i can get ???
and what fans are optimal quite/powerfull?

    hi again

any point in sqeasing a 80mm rad in there aswell ??? or just not bother as it would mean more hot air being blown in at not much performance change to the wc

would this cool considerably better than a bottom 120 rad and a 80mm rad??
or should i try this mod but then i would loose a cd/dvd space i have a modular psu aswell and the connectoins from the back of psu stick out a bit i think maybe this would make space to small at the top.

    i also saw this http://www.over-clock.com/articles.p...ge=1&pagenum=5

would this compete with (120.2/or 120+80mm rads?)

if i was to just cool the cpu and forget about g-card as no volt mods on it here just slight oc on it. would like to oc the conroe pretty good would one 120 rad better sufficient for this and this would make it all easy for me ??
as only mod needed is moving the 120mm fan to other side of the case but still behind the front panel if you get that .
then mount the rad inside .
does the radiator have to have input/output connectoins positioned at the bottom or can they be at the top . have them at the top would mean they should go right over the top of the HD cage and should hopefully fit perfectly.

i have some skills with metal as im a welder but would rather leave the case alone if posible

im realy stuck on what to do here ive been searching but i see no 120rad fitted just to cool cpu with temp results any links guys ??

sorry for my gramma but i leave school bit to early maybe then the drugs as a nipper did the rest.......

please help a w/c noob in need

    thanks n!ck.

As long as your PSU is not longer than 150mm (depth) you can fit a MCR220-QP or Coolingworks 22T rad at the top like I did. Also, the modular connectors on the Corsair HX series PSUs are on the bottom so they don't interfere with the rad barbs.
