    if we take soc.939 mobo with bios written when X2 did't exist and try to run X2 on it - system will start, at least with single core available

    K8L case is the similar case
    i think we will be able to run tests on 1/4 of K8L

    intel shows a working cpus and amd shows a cpu and says that they have them working , while again we see nothing working

    Well, that is quite a difference as todays 125W TDP (from AMD) will be 100W in AMD's tommorows TDP rating. (my figures are not based on anything, just made up). Oh and as a sidenote, AMD's TDP rating of "tommorow" will then be pretty much simular to Intel's rating, which it is not as of today.
