    Great job Criminal.

I hope DFI save the RD600 with a more mature bios. It has only a few months...

P5B DLX & P5W64 are very easy to OC,thats the Asus style
P5N32-E ->she uses the BUS speed number to OC and i don`t like it hehe, good setup for ram ,well easy to OC
RD600-> tons of options for RAM,volts,i like the async mode for ram, we need a week or so to learn everything

I have both the P5W64 and the RD600 and love them both. Personally the RD600 is a lot more fun than the P5W64. I'd had more success with overclocking with almost 100MHz more FSB stability than the P5W64 on my RD600. Asychronous memory clocking is pretty sweet too, and doesn't get any easier than that.

Clock for clock the 975x chipset is a beast, hands down. I use it in my daily gaming super stable rig. However the RD600 is much more fun to tweak and I've only played with it for about 8 hours. There is just so much to learn and so much more to get out of this board. The RD600 has never given me an unrecoverable lockup, a cmos reset or any other grief.

You really have to pick out your motherboard and cpu together and decide what you want. For low multiplier cpus then the RD600 or any 965 board may be for you, however if you have a higher multiplier then go for the 975x chipset if you want the fastest possible. I like both boards for performance but I really like the RD600 for ease and fun.

dual X16 SLI vs dual X8 Crossfire?

How close were they? Or lets ask another question? How close is 650i to 680i in 3 D benchmarks at GPU stock speeds and overclocked GPU speeds?

P.S. With that P5w64 can you use one of the PCI-E slots for a faster kind of RAID card?

    7900GTX@ SLI vs X1900XTX @ Xfire?
    X1900XT wins for a bit
    8800gtx@ SLI vs 1950xtx @ Xfire?
    8800GTX rules theses days hehehe

but i think the right question is
    SLI?
    i975x or 680i= 680i
    Xfire?
    i975X or RD600= http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=129509

    me think is the same

i haven`t tried but i c no problems to fit it

Some interesting numbers, odd that RD600 is soo far behind in 32M. Large System Cache used? Almost looks like RD600 1T is the same as 2T. P5N32-E for me is over 30s slower at 32M than 975 @ 4.6ghz.

Really great post PcCI2iminal, thanks for that

Those early comments by Tony suggested this board needs 1T to fly in performance so I find it weird to see 1T vs 2T on RD600 so close together... but it might indeed be the RD600 oc'ers right now aren't nowhere close to the right tweaks, at least that's one of the explanations... Otherwise the difference in Superpi32M times vs the 975X board is devastating.
