I wonder if they will say the same with Halo 3, 2 years from now?

To be fair I hated Halo 2 in comparison to Halo... it was shocking in all aspects of the game... Halo 3 obviously will not end out this way, due to what they've said. I don't think Halo 3 can be the end since they've jumped a generation of console... Halo 3 has to lead to Halo 4.

unless halo 3 is a huge dump then it will(even if it is they probably will). if they can make money off of it they will make it/sell it.

Im not a big Halo player, but I have played a little bit and never played, I didnt start playing till the second one and so I have never played the first one, so I dont understand what they messed up on. Especially with multiplayer, whats the difference between the second one and the first one?

the gameplay mechanics are different in the first one, and better IMO.

Better guns, better health system, different jumping, the pistol, etc.

Wow I am amazed that they actually said this publicly. Most companies dont like to point out flaws in their software *cough*SONY*cough**cough**cough**cough**cough*

Ehim. Yes, so as I was saying, Halo 3 should be nice.

I see what I see, and you see what you see. I can't make you see what I see, but I can tell you what I see is not what you see. Truth is, we see what we want to see, and what we want to see is what those around us see. And what we don't see is... well, conspiracies.

I wish EA would follow Bungee's example. But then again, they would be in the news with these kinds of admissions so often as to appear disingenuous.

I liked Halo 2's single player, never cared for either multiplayer wise, but I guess that's just a style thing.

Since when have they been Bungee?

    They are Bungie.

Halo was originally a Mac/PC game, until it was hijacked and finally released by Microsoft for the XBox nearly two years after its scheduled release for Mac/PC.

Sadly I think Microsoft sucked the creatively life out of this formerly small and incredibly creative game developer. They used to be known for releasing revolutionary games, look at their past. They were pioneers of the FPS genre with Path Ways Into Darkness and the Marathon Series, and then the RTS genre with the Myth series, then they moved to third person games like Oni and the little known game Halo/Halo 2.
