how bad is the Vdroop on it??? It dosent seem to be affecting the clocks
    at all lol...

thats a heck of a chip ya got there as well... wish mine would doo that...
though while lapping mine I belive its called a SMD on the bottom of the chip
mm well it fell off lol... the damb thing still runs though...
Strange really I've lapped prolly 100 chips by now and never had that happen...

So you gonna keep in on air or going to water or phaze???

This chip is really good for FSB on air, but not so good with more cooling, it's a good mobo tester

What voltage did you set in BIOS? And how much voltage is it measured with a DMM??

Have the board here too but can't get the fsb over 553 at multi 9,
    Multi 8x is 560
multi 6 is 576 no problem, its not cpu becouse it did 572x9 already on the p5b.

did you try at higher multi?

    edit:
vcore above 1.80v results in lowering the vcore
    example:
    1.80 @bios = 1.77
    1.85 @bios = 1.70

so max to get unmodded is 1.77 real vcore.

What do you mean it's "real" Vcore? Measured with a DMM or not?
I mean, you can't say "that sensor measures right", without having it checked with a DMM...

I'm about to buy that board as well, but I want to make sure there's not that huge drop of voltage under load like on t he p5b dlx for example...

    thanks for your info!

    Salut Misterroadster

I'm just jealous. I can't even get to 500 FSB with mine, could you please give me your BIOS setup? I removed the stock heatsink, it was only 30% in contact. So I installed Artic Silver instead of the stock tape but it's not enought...

    See you,

    Thomas
