Thanks, sorry for all the questions.
The NB is cooled with icy water. CPU temp is -87C. There are so many fans cooling the memory etc. that the whole thing would fly out of the window if it wasn't held in place by a 100- pound cascade... I can imagine the headlines if it would land on someone's head!

I got the board running for a couple of hours today. Slight improvement as I managed to break the FSB 540 wall.

I'm getting my Asus Commando on Tuesday.

Thing is, i've got G.Skill 6400 HZ's, so am i going to have an issue with booting for the first time due to the default VDIMM?

    G. Skill HZ's are rated DDR2-800 4-4-4-12 @ 2.0-2.1v. They will boot will less easily, you'll be fine. Especially if less is 1.93v

    Can´t be done without Asus.
The board doesn´t use the new default setting without saving settings once.

Here are my accomplishments after 3 nights with the board. All in all, the Commando behaves a lot like a P5B Dlx. It is a very quick board.

I had to flash the BIOS once after setting VMCH to 2.025 volts messed it up. It is also quite easy to fry your memory. Believe me.

The Hardware Monitor in the BIOS shows massive voltage fluctuation for Vcore and especially Vdimm. I think that all the voltage readings are purely indicative. I did not have time to verify the readings with a mm.

So, here is what you can expect:

    1M

    8M

    32M

    PiFast
