get it through your skull people it is not the abit.
the pic on this link IS and looks entirely different (look bottom right hand edge by the 2nd GFX. No dual mounting holes such as on the abit.

YEP IT IS THE ASUS !!! check any pic.
well too bad its $399 ( I would expect these features for $400) DFI will prolly be $350-$360 then

yes, evga costs arround 250EUR in Europe,so the Stryker is in the sam price class, although ASUS usualy prices it's board a little above everybody else...
btw,is it realistic to expect the Stryker board sometime next week?

I don't know what your on about...If i rememebr correctly the first picture was posted by coolaler. It seems he removed the picture since.

And that picture is the same as the one Pt1t posted.

Same angles, same holes, same wires...Too many matching details not to be the same picture.

He could just be denying it because of the NDA or smthn...

The 680i reference/nvidia built models like the evga are $269. Is the Striker worth $130 more? Really ?

very nice looking board! I like all the aluminum caps, nice layout design too.
i wonder how well the passive heat pipe design will work?
the clear cmos button is a sweet touch, as well as the lighted pwr, and rst buttons.

WHy is there an Intel 975xbx Bad Axe pic in the middle of coolaler's pics? And it seems to be a revision 306...kinda strange since the BadAxe2 is on its way to retail stores right now!

Regarding the retail package pics...does anyone else find it kinda strange a $350 motherboard doesn't include rounded ide cables? But I guess the leather key fob makes up for it?

Question: What are those two ports to the right of the PS/2 ports. The rounded orange AC adapter looking port and the gray/black covered port.

It's a "LCD Poster" diagnostic screen.

The lightbulb controls the internal LED's which light up the motherboard at "strategic points" to help you see things more clearly. It also cuts off power to the motherboard so you don't fry things.

From the looks of things probably $350 is about right. Now, can you help me tell what the two ports to the right of PS/2 port is? The orange hole and the covered up gray/black thing.
