    nice result, but you may wish to edit your first post the 945 is 3.4ghz at stock as your x17 multiplier shows.

    Also does the 945 clock better than the 950 due to the lack of vt, or is it the same, just with a feature removed?

    Better clocking, lower power consumption and less heat. Benefits of C1 stepping. Probably has nothing to do with lack of VT.......but we'll see what coolaler has to say about it.

    Is it only me that react to the third post showing a failed instance of SPi32M?
    Problably heat related but impossible to verify when no temp-utility prog is running showing temps (nice to see for comparison)
    In my dual systems it's always one of the cores that OC's more or less worse than the other one (sometimes Core0... sometimes Core1).

    4.51GHz, prime stable on zalman 9500, 265FSB

    Dont know if my bottleneck is the chip or mobo - It's a 945p asus p5ld2 dual phase - i'm surprised it handles this, though I guess it's partly responsible for the 0.11v fall off on load. Boards the reason I upgraded to the 945 pentium d instead of a core 2. Figured I'm better off waiting for kentsfield and up

    Only made 4.69GHz for a boot into windows once before it locked up. 4.8 is pretty sweet Nice oc Cooaler!

    That the intel 975x mobo? With a standard 945, you wont get any oc options right?

    Also curious - was that an old bios, cpuz or is it the es nature of the chip that was causing detection to be a 950?

    Just picked a PD945 (I'll use it with a P5P800 SE) from the egg @ $164 shipped. Putting together a budget system for Printer and File Sharing Server. And will also be there for when I'm working my main rig...LOL I hope to run it around @ 4.2Ghz.

    you should get 250fsb easy - just set the voltage to 1.4v manually if necessary.

    @Nicepun

    Please, be patient with P5P8ooSE, my old one BURNED, after 20h of rendering w/D805@3.2Ghz
    mosfets were burned and mobo just died, like in a bad movie!
    That is NOT mobo for OC at all, just diefolt stock Mhz!
    And also every FSB over 200-220 is killing for P5P800SE.
    If yu can purchase some chipper 945mobo for 70-100$
