everyone interested in L62XB's should consider the wait and see game. Most of the L629B flavor clock better on default volts, do 3.6ghz easy, & can complete Pi @ 4ghz on air. But they all run hot as a dickens. I'm gonna wait for a L630B or something. Black Friday will turn up some good deals here and maybe the chips will run a bit cooler then. Of course, if I run across a L628B like I did before, I'll buy 'em all again

I totally agree with you on this. The L629B's seem to run much hotter than the L628B's.

lol I'm afraid to...my temps aren't the greatest at stock voltage, pumping it up to 1.5V wouldn't be pretty. Also I bought it online and it shipped from a PA warehouse. But yeah I will see how far I can push it tonight before the temps go too high.

I ordered on sunday, shipped on monday from NJ. What bothers me is that I am from NJ and newegg sent me an old cpu. However, some "foreigners" (other states ) are getting better weeks than me.... Shame on you Newegg
