Nice, I have to ask though, why did you use a fan at the mem?
The entire PCB on mobo should be below amb, and the mem - near socket, should be quite cold. <10 deg C.

right, but have you thought about the condensation when the vaporized cold air cames from pot and blew to motherboard and you will burn your memory ?

All you have to do is get the vcore mod correctly. Andre has post the correct vcore mod. at intel section. Good luck

Many peoples tell me take the P5W64 WS pro... what do you think about before you kill yours?

well, there is nothing to do about before or after, the board has its potential goodness. It's about the same as P5wdg2 WS pro. But honestly, If p5wdg2 ws pro can improve its circuit layout, I rather pick P5wdg2 WS pro. Under 1.75v, certainly, p5wdg2 WS pro is the king of Intel 975x board period.

So, what you are saying is, if you didn't kill your p5w64, you would have 8.8x?

RMA that puppy and let's see some new benchies!

Im not sure what you mean.

    What will kill the mem?
And is the concept to get the cold air(LN2 -> N2) from top of pot down to mem?

    Im a bit confused

BTW: Hmm, it wont hit liquid state (the condens) - as long as theres LN2 in the tube...

Certain parts of the board can start turning into puddles after a long bench session. It's not like the whole board is at full LN2 temperatures, parts of it are in a critical range where you get water and not frost. Airflow is a wonderful way to combat places you can't insulate (or were too lazy to), it's a must for prolonged bench sessions....not to cool things down, but rather to heat them up.

    hehe I know

But I've been doin' 6-7hours benchin' with LN2, low room humidity though.. (38% as far as I remember), was ice all the way around chipset, and quite some at mem, back when the yonah combat was in (Dont wanna do some real benchies with LN2 again before I get some great equiptment, kinda sucks with mobo limit and single GFX.. - When ORB huntin' )

Hmm, should search for the thread, but - the FX55 clawhammer LN2 show at netbyte, Im tellin' ya, that rig was seriously frosted up! - Black mem heatsinks became white of frost

Frost scares me nearly as much as water, maybe I'm old fashioned, but I always do my best to keep a dry board whenever I bench. Any time I deviate from that, I usually end up killing something. Easy enough to pull a cheap ol fan above the setup to potentially save lots of hardware. Not that I don't appreciate you folk with balls of steel, but I'd rather keep my stuff running.

Hehe, first LN2 attempt all by myself.. - AND YES, the holddown was made of metal, made a PVC one Im using instead, cause this was.. SCARY

    Never use metal hold-down

Congrats on you first LN2 attempt! LN2 is dangerous to the body as well as the hardware. Considering I second- or third - degree burned myself on ovens in the last four weeks, my clumsiness scares me. I really am too vain to have disfigured hands.

    Benchies?

You are impressive man! Congrats for the WR!
Is it true that p5w64 ws pro has problems above 1.7v?

LN2 isnt harmful to the body unless you put your hand straight in it or something. If you spill some on your hand it'll vaporise too quickly to do any damage.

After these couple days practice and research.
    I appreciate some of XS friends' help;
I should not have any problem to do some 8m close to 5.5ghz(currently 5475)and 32m(current 5450mhz) later.
