    Running 2 Delta 220cfm fans at 7v.

According to the math ive done these fans are rated at 3 watts @ 2.94a @ 12v.

Now, I've been told that running a delta on 7v does some stupid crap with the 5v line, i dont think this is true as the 7v line has nothing to do with 5v right?
Correct me if i'm wrong but i doubt there would be any feedback into the psu.

I have no idea about feedback into the PSU, but unless you are using a fan controller, running at 7V does use the 5V line. The fan uses the 12V and 5V line giving you an effective potential difference of 7V.

The 220CFM Delta's are far from quiet when run at 7V, and they develop some mechanical noise. They also move substantially lower air. And at 5V the mechanical noise gets worse, and the airflow drops even more. I'd recommend just getting a lower speed fan as it will sound a lot better.

But if you're set on getting the Delta, just remove the black wire from the molex, and move it to the furthest spot from the red. So if the molex is labelled 1 2 3 4, the red is in 1 and the black is in 2. Take the black one and put it in 4.
