it's a nice result but... no a E6300 WR.
here is a Chinese OCer's result
1. 620*7 = 4320mhz
2. 615*7=4293mhz pi_1m 13.438sec
OMG, 4320 Mhz on E6300 is sick Congratulation on really nice overclock and Pi time
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 E0 L845B @ 4.3 Ghz, Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3R rev1.1 with F11, 8Gb Crucial Ballistix 4x2Gb DDRII @ DDR1100+,

OMG, We will must hard work, if we want first with E6300.
Congrats!
What cooling use? DI? Vcore?

lucky you got the chip without FSBwall
Yes, rig details needed ...

gratz
lets see that hungarian E6300 on some LN2 if it gets 4G's on Dice already! gratz!
CPU: Core 2 Duo T7250 2.0GHz
RAM: 2x2GB OCZ PC2-5400 CL5
GFX: Intel GMA X3100
HDD: 160GB
LN2 won`t help much.lets see that hungarian E6300 on some LN2 if it gets 4G's on Dice already! gratz!
DI is enough for 4.5GHz+ even. The limiting factor is not cooling - it`s mobo, RAM and CPU`s FSBwall
wow!
@ VictorWang do u know maybe stepping from your friends CPU?
p.s. whats the difference between A and B steps of CPU, what do they mean? And what es mean?
UPDATE
So, we try to beat the WR again, but the Force was not with us @600fsb was a wall, I think the memorys stopped (dual, single ch too), but Im not sure.. so the rig:
Asus P5B Deluxe@fullmod (mch@1.8v)
My litte E6300@1.67v @ -50C (we made a new block, the older was for s939, so it was complicated to use)
2*1GB Team Xtreem 6400CL4@2.8v
Matrox G450 Dualhead PCI
cpu-z valid from 600fsb 1:1
PS: Sorry for the big pictures
great to see you made another run at it but that 620*7 monster run is going to be tough to beat i think. congrats on almost 600FSB none-the-less :thumbsup:Originally Posted by Achill3uS
