My first retail 6600 to hit 4 ghz was aircooled with a Zalman 9500LED, but couldn't do any Pi if you want to count that one. This is the second one I was able to get to hit 4 ghz. Its on water, but still couldn't complete Pi. This is the one that can complete 32mb Pi @ 3915mhz. The week 28 could only do 1 mb Pi @ 3915mhz. I believe we have a 6400 doing it on air. Hitting 4ghz on air with the retail chips is rare. Heck hitting 4 ghz on the retail chips is rare with any cooling thus far, which is why its so exciting to me to see so many posts here that have acheived it. I feel once winter gets here some of us may be even more successful with the cooler ambient temps

probably, but you probably are not the first who is gonna toast his conroe with 1.6 Volt hehe. I was doing 9 x 445 - 5 weeks ago with a retail conroe week 24 ( like it matters ) when the cpu died, with 1.6 Vcore and the same cooling as you .

Do you think it was the voltage or could it have been possible condensation.

Mr. Deeds over pressure with mount I think thats what riped a contact off? Condensation melted one off via short don't really know. I miss her so much.

All that I know is the chip worked I took it out of the board and then a contact was missing didn't post again

Idle temps are still -50C and the maximum bootable OC is 32M stable so I'm guessing it's a lack of vCore that's stopping me going further.
