I dont know if this is still going, but could a complete overclocking noob be in on this??

All done using air and a Zalman 9700 on max speed.. Been thinking of getting a Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme in replacement but been told not to bother.. Any suggestions please? Also, is there anything I can do with my Abit AW9D-Max board to help with north and south bridge cooling?? Sorry for the questions, just need some help!!

A little late to the party but...

    CPU Type: E4300
    Clock Speed: 4005mhz
    Stepping: Step 2 L2
    vCore: 1.66 (per speedfan)
    Cooling: Home-built SS phase change
    Motherboard: abit IP35-E
    Memory: Crucial Ballistix Tracer
    Rated speed: 8000
    Timings: 5-5-5-15

It is very stable at this speed, can probably push it a bit higher with some more vCore. Gotta love a 125% overclock with a budget chip on a budget mobo.

edit: Heh! Looks like I have the first Allendale-Conroe in the 4ghz club.
