when you use Memset DO NOT HIT EXIT!!! YOU MUST HIT THE X BUTTON IN THE UPPER CORNER.

i cant believe you missed that he said this like a dozen times already. and i been telling people the same things.

    now use memset silly :P

If you didn't EXIT, you would lose some super pi speed. Many people doesn't like that, especially super pi limit overclock.

I try to tweak 965 memset, it doesn't help speed much. So I never use memset on 965chip. I still can do super pi faster than some people score.

Is there no MCH voltage control on this board? How can you get 500FSB with no VMCH?

i tested 1m pi just real quick to see about your theory of losing time.
and for 1m pi i didnt lose anything.
    i tested no memset
    memset open
then memset close by hitting X

no loss or gain of speed.

i didnt test 32m as i didnt feel like waiting around for each test to run lol.

    good question.

if the bios programmers did their job correctly(i aint saying the didn't) they would have the bios auto adjust the vmch according to fsb speed/bus speed.

that is what auto is suppose to do but it never ever is programmed to be that way. someday maybe a programmer will actually get the balls to make "auto" mean what it is supposed to mean. "auto" the user doesnt ahve to adjust anything.

either way good eye there. i didnt even notice he didnt show a vmch in the bios.

andre is that right the bios doesnt have a vMCH setting ? if no,, then wow! that makes 500 even better if it can to that with auto, or low volts.

Seem like this board is the same price with DS3 but overclock better little bit. The max for DS3 around 485-490 for E6300.

Yeah, I might use this for the wife's C2D build instead of the P5B D - It's got the Intel Matrix controller. When will we see it?

The first BIOS Memory Voltage is only 2.1V and cannot add any MCH voltage. I will ask ASUS to get new BIOS before the mobo is available on the market.

    So I only test FSB 500 DDR2 100 5-5-5-15 2.1V

Nice 500 FSB and this will be a cheap board. LOL, I knew they were going to do this......where was this board back in July? (Back then the only cheap board was DS3)

I can tell this will be a good one. Hopefully on par with P5B deluxe without all the fluff.

Be greatful sir , there is no need for calling it what you did.

Remember this is going to be a cheap board and that is very good for people who overrclock. Overclocking boards are usually very expensive and it will help you get the max of your cpu.

Also its a revised chipset and it has more to offer it needs to mature, just like every chipset.

ego breaks a man, theres no need for it.

This guy is showing you future products and yes he has a right to a opinion but ty isnt one.

PS do you think he hit 600fsb the first day it came out , very unlikely.

Also its people like Andre Yang that make this joint what it is , being rude is never a good thing

opinions - that can mean anything people want it to be.

All i am saying is there are good ways to say the same thing , there is no need for it.

Like if i want a apple , i can say "excuse me sir can I have a apple please?" or I can say " hey dumbf**K give me that apple right now or I whoop your A*s"

That is all I am saying.
