AMAZING cooler. I hope the 80nm process lets the cards run a lot cooler similar to what the X800XL did for the X800 line... but with OC!

Internal crossfire sounds great, let's hope the implementation is something clean. The flexible bridge on the Asus A8N32 is quite clever.

X1950 XTX is still on the 90nm process from what I remember.

    1950xt to have 256mb memory

ATI plans one more SKU for the end of the summer. The launch date is still scheduled for 23rd and the card is yet again based on the R580+ core. It won’t be the top notch Radeon X1900 XTX or Crossfire edition, we are talking about a Radeon X1950 XT card.

Radeon X1950 XT will have 256MB of memory and should also work at a 2.0GHz frequency. It will use the fastest GDDR 4 memory and will naturally use a 256 bit interface. This card will likely be ATI's answer to the very sucessful Geforce 7900 GT series and should be in the same price range.

It looks like the key difference will be the memory size and it will end up cheaper than the projected €399 to €415 for X1950 XTX card.

the first official presentation of 1950 will be in 10 August in Germany...
When Mercedes brought their C111 to Talledega years ago and blew away the closed course record did it count? Yes..
That was a "factory" car and a "one of" that no one could buy and was never sold.
Records are records and that is a fact so get over it.

Any idea as to which of them?

lots about the x800xl sucking going to smaller process..no mention of the 25mhz crystal in opposition to the 27mhz of all other ATI cards...at least the agp ones.
