I don't know what coolaler does for a living, but with the amount of time he gets to spend with ES chips, It'd be nice to be him.

Its his job, coolaler.com is alot bigger than xtremesystems.org - But thats irrelevant for the thread, the important part is he shows us this amazing CPU, and some results, Im trying too get some 05/06 results, but he dont reply

you guys have to realize that only benchmarks that utilize mulitple cores are going to see an increase - and it still won't be 2x more than a conroe. so asking to see a spi 1m test is worthless.

multi-threaded apps, however will be very nice

Sorry, in my book nothing is valid unless its in a case, and hence, a "normal" environment, by all means go nuts on cooling not a problem, but an open top setup with an OC ppl claim to be stable when in all reality inside a PC it probably won't be? Thats just unacceptable to me.

I'm sure glad Coolaler has this, I know he will bench the snot out of it and SHOW us the results. Can't wait to see Cinebench.

Nobody puts out more ss on a cpu then Coolaler.

Kentsfield is 2* DIE's, and another Intel nearly 2* the heat...
Thank you! I was thinking half the heat,
Enough of that, but I dont think under LN2 that the heatload will be too much of a problem. Also since this is such an early sample I can only geuss that its a heavy cherrypicker.

I still don't see the interest, right now, of 4 core..

Could be nice when you need to compress a movie, while compressing some music and playing Oblivion I guess..
