Also, found this for M2N32 at VR-ZONE.

    http://www.vr-zone.com/?i=3738

Not sure if this will help. In the meantime, I'll keep looking.

Thats the link that I found also the first one that is. The problem is the board layout is all different. The ram is now above not next to the CPU and the other picture they dont mention a measure point they just say where to pencil...

Im looking for that hut looking thing but cant see it on my board.

Also when and if I do find it what setting on my DMM do I run for a voltage check on a mobo. I know dc but what do you set it at...

    EDIT ::

Okay there are 6 of those little hut looking things on the board all under the heatsink fins for the north//southbridge cooler....

    Hmm

Okay, for this part, set the range selector to 2 volts (on DC, like you mentioned).

It seems to me I've read posts in this forum where people have mentioned taking Vcore readings from m2n32 boards. Maybe I'll look a little more today.

i cant ever get the vcore to read correctly... cpuz showing 1.424 and i need it to be at 1.53, in bios i did set it to 1.53 but seem not to be valid.
is there something else i need to be looking at?

There are variables such as bios used and cpu......but with the M2N mobo, the Vcore you set in bios will actually be around 1.575 - 1.58. Easy to verify with a DMM and measure point is widely known for this board.

I too have a 6000+ that is performing near these levels.
    I can't hit 3.4ghz yet.
I will post some results soon, I'm having a few issues with pc shutting down for no reason, so once that is sorted I will post some results.
    My chip is ADX6000IAA6C2
    CCB6F 0714 XPMW.
Mobo is Asus Crosshair. Same results with a Foxconn C51XEM2AA.

Also, I'm getting some weird temps if anyone can help.
Typically core 1 is 15deg c higher than core 0. This is at idle, things even out to about a 3deg difference at load. I'm using coretemp and coretemeter to monitor the temps.
I have looked into core usage, but that doesn't seem to be an issue because I get these temp differences when both cores are showing 0% usage.
    Any ideas?

Sweet overclocks! If there were RD790 boards out now I'd love to snap one of these chips up...

OMG yes i know Toledo was horrid on air. I never got one stable on air over 2750. Even an XP-120 with multiple fans those things hit unto the 60+C range. I am a little surprised Brisbane did not do better than it did, but I guess it's a little like the D0 stepping of AMD's early 90nm cores.

I cant find the paper where I jotted down the stepping it figures...

Nice work so far though guys. These seem to level out around 3.3-3.4 ghz. I have been running mine game stable for a week now at 3350 24/7 and it seems to work just fine.

I havent got to try and push it much further i been beyond busy with work and grad classes.

This is an early oc just upped the htt. So it's with stock volts.

    http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=206460

Also the bios hasn't been flashed yet, so that's why it shows processor unknown.
This is done with the stock hsf.
Has anyone got to 3.4 yet? All I get are bsods at that speed, yet 3360 is perfectly stable.

I must say that I prefer this chip to my e6600.

    I've been unable to get mine past 3.35 :p @ 1.55v

wouldn't mind trying a newer stepping in the near future since they're allready coming down so much in price over here

SuperPi 1M at 3557MHz (as posted above).

3604 was just for the CPU-Z shot

I'll try with watercooling next (and maybe remove the heatspreader)

Any gains by pushing the HT-link that hard?

These chipsets do 1.5GHz HT Link easily so its not really pushing it. Obvioiusly does not make a difference in SuperPi (as its not the bottleneck) but gives a small boost for some other stuff (3D @ high resolution for instance).

at 1.9GHz I would consider I am pushing it a bit (this was with 690G)

    full screen at 1.88GHz

Nice, I'm a bit disappointed in my Opty 1212, these new 5600 and 6000's are clocking nice and I paid big dollar for my Opty, they've since dropped about $100. I top out at 3.2GHz on air and 1.55v....but then again, my cpu default speed is 2.0GHz

Macci you're a legend! Is that on a Gigabyte 690G board?!
