    hi folks

has anybody already found voltage readout points on the abit ab9 quat gt?

received the board yesterday and want to solder some wires before i install the board into my case.

i'm looking for pics of readout points: vcore, vmch, vdimm, vtt

don't know yet hows the voltage drop on this board. will figure it out as soon as i know the readouts. drop mod might be of interest too ...

Good luck mate. the VT1115M is under NDA and a number of us have tried to get hold of it, with no avail. Either someone manages to get a copy or we're stuck with only BIOS mods.

This is a general picture, valid for all DDR2 motherboards.
If you need a permanent spot, do a contingency check (0 ohm) from this point to capacitors at theside of the dimm slot and solder a wire to it.

(Up in this picture is up on regular Intel boards, but some might have the slots reversed)

    Vmods so far

Crotales vdimm should work fine on this board too

Hoping to have vcore sorted soon along with a vdroop, for vcore measurements just try the side of the ceramic SMD capacitors around the cpu socket - one side will be grounded and the other will be vcore.

    Vcore

    Vdroop

Don't try to completely eliminate vdroop it's needed for the cpu to function normally but I've been able to reduce it to less than 10mV

    Enjoy

I am running out of VR. Can you measure the actual resistans of your VR only when you have about 10mV drop?

    Thanks in advance!
