    Got any clocks from them?

    Yup, they're nice.

I was bored tonight, so I decided to combine my 6400C3's and my Super Talent DDR2-800's. Managed 400 @ 3-3-3 with 4X1024MB.

I recognize those, dont expect any good clocks from that RAM. That is the generic CB-3 which is your basic run of the muck PC2-5300.

It does ~750mhz max 4-4-4 jsut like all the generic stuff does

Voltage? That looks awefully similar to Micron BN / B6 -3 or -2 depending on chip. I have a set of B6-3 that does roughly those clocks @ 2.25v

I'm using 2.38v. The Super Talents by themselves will do 413 @ 3-3-3.

They'll most likely end up in a low freq system. Do you believe it's possible to run them at 3-3-3, <350MHz?

No, not possible at any voltage. You might get just over 600 but 700 is out of the question with those clks.

    <sigh> You mean Micron BT...

BT had its day in the sun but the BN and B6 die(s) are quickly catching up to it in terms of clockspeed with lower vdimm needed for the same speeds.

OK...thought I'd share a few more pics from underneath the spreaders of a few sticks of Mushkin PC2 5300 (4-4-4-12):

Here's what was under spreader #1 (512mb, single sided). This is rebadged Spectek RAM but for some odd reason, it doesn't get along with the yonah board. That's too bad, since the IC's definately look like fatties.......I'm gonna have the spd reprogrammed to see if I can get it to boot.......

This was what was under spreader #2 :

This stick was Double Sided.....meaning that the stick is actually a 1GB stick and not 512mb (as the spreader had stated )

End up picking up another single 512mb stick and a single 1gb stick from mushkin so I can pair the sticks up.....under spreader #3 (512mb stick), was another stick of Spectek

Under spreader #4 (1gb stick) was this:

Anybody have any clues to what it could be?(and no, I haven't tested them yet).

I still have a pair here that hasn't been stripped naked yet, but I'm not allowed to touch the spreaders on these (regardless, it's not too hard to figure out what IC's were used on them anyway )

    #1 Is Spectek BT-37E (de-binned BT3)
#2 Is Also BT-37E (hence the D9DQW tag)
#3 Is unknown but it is most likely Aneon (a division of Infineon)

Its just like Ive been telling people for almost a year now. Simply because it says "d9" does not mean its BT-3 or 37E. The DDR2 is the same as posted earlier, generic CB-3 which does maybe 750mhz 4-4-4 if you're lucky.

Where would be able to identify BT-3 or 37E on a ram module?
