Soon 5.6GHz!!!!!!!
I find it very hard to belive that he can hit 5.3Ghz with 1.6 Vcore and with a 21 Multi.
and he is NOT using a ES??
Theres no 2.8E with 533FSB right? Why then does cpu-z show 21x multi and 2.8ghz, is it unlocked?
well Its MEmesama the LN2 guru.. So its 100% correct.. one of the best in the game IMHO :)
a 2.8E with 533 = 2.8AQuote:

21*133 = 2800
2.4A = 18*133
It's a new processor
I didnt hear about Intel releasing a new "A" model Prescott, is there going to be a full line of them all the way to 3.4GHz?
assuming the 3.4 would have a 133MHZ fsb that means the multi = 3400 / 133 = 25.56 :slobber: :slobber: :slobber:Quote:

that means a FSB of 200 = 5112MHZ!!! :slobber: :slobber:
That would be very cool, itd take the fsb limitations of the locked p4s completely away.

ram is not running @ 273 (I    :banana:en wish), only @ 261 using 10.5 multi

that is sooo fast...!
23sek is awesome (he will make it..)
I managed to get 35s with my air cooled XP-M. :)

How cold was this air? ;)
Thanks. :)Quote:

Kind of a shame it's getting so hot here now, I could get much more out the chip when it was colder. :D
Here's my mobile 2500+ result :

Watercooling (14c water).
Great speed Henry, but you've got some tweaking do do! You're 60 MHz higher on the CPU and 16.5 on the FSB, but you still get the same result.
Thanks Endre :)
But i think 60mhz clock / 16.5mhz fsb advantage is not enough to get 1 sec in superpi 1mb.
With desktop Barton 2500+ @ 2.63 Ghz (10.5x250) i can get 37 sec, SCREENSHOOT. 230mhz clock / 10mhz fsb advantage (2.86 ghz - 11x260) just give me 2 sec faster.
Henry,
you turned off CPC?
nice clock for the cooling you provided. but all i need is 250fsb at similar cpu clock as yours to get 34sec....
i know you enabled everything when you ran sandra mem bench at those fsbs, but i suppose you had to disable goodies to get to 2.85'ish ghz? it seems so.

11-2-2-CL2-9-12, 4/29 bios.
CPU aggressive on?
APIC enabled? :D
what brand/model memory sticks are they.
how is that 4/29 bios.. anybody getting good tight performance with that bios version?
what did that x-x-x-x-9-12 setting do to you based on your experience? faster or slower?
CPU Interface : Aggressive.
APIC : Enabled :)
I use 2x 256MB Twinmos PC3200 (BH-5). Never compare bios 4/29 with 1/21 yet in superpi, but in sandra mem bench and 3dmark2001 the score is same.
Maybee u use "special windows tweaks" :D
thank you very much for your co-operation mr. Henry.

oh i forgot to mention that... hmm.. i use win2k ntfs sp2 dx8.1 and no special tweaks..
